Paper manufactured during the period Goryo (918-1392). Intended for printing important documents. Very famous especially in China where it was exported.
Literally gold paper. Decorative paper whose gloss is achieved by special preparation of the pulp: part of the fibers is cooked in soda and bleached, and is then mixed with the rest of the longer fibers.
Literally hard yellow paper. Its surface is treated with an insecticidal substance that makes it shiny. It was manufactured in Xi'an (Shaanxi), Luoyang (Henan) and Anhui.
