Toonoshi

Toonoshi is produced in Fukushima Prefecture since mid-16th century. It is a solid paper used for many purposes such as writing, particularly for registers (nobegami), calligraphy and ink drawing. It is also used in crafts (for making dolls, flowers etc..), as dyeing stencil, in printing prints, for covering the sliding doors etc.
