Senshi
Paper used for writing and painting. Imitation of xuan paper, usually manufactured with rice straw, bamboo or other fibres like spindle tree (Eonymus sieboldiana Blume).
Confusion between the true Chinese paper imported to Japan and its imitation made in Japan. However, the term most often refers to the true xuanzhi produced in Anhui province.
