Shifu

Shifu, is a fabric paper. The paper to make the threads used to weave the fabrics, must be flexible and strong, these fabrics are used in the manufacture of summer clothing. Manufacturing is certified at the beginning of the Edo period (1603-1868). The fabric can be produced with paper weft and warp or weft made of paper and warp of silk or cotton. The most famous is produced in Shiroishi (Tohoku - Miyagi Prefecture).
